Such a yummy yummy evening snack with coffee or tea!
Banana bread is so flavorful and moist. Like, look at that!
The thing that I love most about banana bread is (you probably guessed it) that its suuuper easy and you get to use up bananas that otherwise you would've had to throw away. As long as there is no mould growing on your bananas, no matter how ripe (black) they are, you can use them!
Banana bread by itself is amazing, but for the kids who don't like the smell of banana, a few chocolate chips added in the end does wonders to the result!
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
3 bananas
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1 cup Chocolate Chips
Method
- Heat oven to 350
- Combine and mix all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.
- Place batter in a greased bread pan (bottom only) or in muffin tins.
- Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes then remove from pan. Complete cooling on a wire rack.
- Serve as is or with a dollop of whipped cream.
